From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced
The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and presented the initial group of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to undertake their own adventure, separate from the additional parties.
The Soldiers table features Teor (played by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).
Why Split the Party?
Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.
Hence, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Explorers.
The Nature of the Warrior Group
As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.
Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might seem out of place, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.
Reasons to Leave
First, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.
An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise started the narrative’s action—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
Casimir then settled his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Personal Motivations
Secondly, each character has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:
- Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
- The adventurer is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty place.
- The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
- However, their status as important members in the influential clan could enable the party enter locations they usually can’t.
- Furthermore, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.
Fugitives
In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:
- The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
- Tyranny and Wicander turned against the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
- The fighter is targeted for elimination by the family.
This results in them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in search of Casimir.
What’s Next?
Based on the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight participants to round up the Questers and Strategists parties.
Audiences can anticipate learning which players will be where in the season’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
