In November 2018, Steve Bannon, formerly Donald Trump's chief strategist, visited the UK preparing for a address at the prestigious Oxford Union.

The event was interrupted by hundreds of demonstrators, and Bannon, scheduled to travel that evening, informed Jeffrey Epstein in an email: "Activists delayed my talk I doubt I can make the plane we are heading to heathrow".

Epstein replied: "There. Is a Gulf Air departing at 950 with a layover in Bahrain". Bannon replied: "U r an amazing helper".

These exchanges were published on this week alongside more than 20,000 documents from the records of Epstein, the deceased convicted sex offender.

The release by the Congressional committee contains an iMessage chat where Bannon's identity is redacted. Media outlets has been able to confirm his involvement by matching the dates, occurrences, and places mentioned.

For instance, Epstein discusses chartering a plane from Scotland for the redacted user in the chat, and offers praise their "Oxford speech". Bannon took part in the News Xchange conference on 14 November, and delivered the talk at the Oxford on November 16.

Bannon, who faces no allegations of any wrongdoing, declined to comment on the request for comment.

'I'll make sure you're well looked after'

Bannon was one of the president's closest advisers in the lead-up to the 2016 election and during the initial phase of his presidency, but stepped down from the White House in August 2017.

He has acknowledged he was producing a film about Epstein before his death and allegedly has around 15 hours of footage. In a live taping of his show earlier this year, he stated: "We're going to publish the series, the five-part series, next year - early next year."

But the recently disclosed materials suggest Bannon's relationship with Epstein extended than documenting his life, with the convicted paedophile at times seeming to act like a personal assistant.

A short time prior to the conversation in which Epstein appeared to have arranged a charter jet for Bannon, Epstein said: "what's it like to have the highest-paid travel agent in the world ".

Bannon expressed gratitude: "U r pretty good assistant", to which Epstein responded "Therapies. Not Included".

Discussing a trip to "Abu Dhabi" in another message, Epstein assured Bannon: "I'll make sure you are taken care of."

British Affairs Mentioned in Exchanges

The released communications also show Bannon and Epstein discussing UK politics in 2018.

On the same day his address at the Oxford, Bannon texted Epstein: "I've gotten pulled into the EU exit issue this morning with Nigel, Johnson and Mogg."

Then, in what seems like a allusion to the UK prime minister, the embattled UK prime minister at the time, he continued: "The guys are trying to proceed. May today / tomorrow…"

Epstein suggested Bannon: "In my view remaining as long as you can uk. Best-- so others see the dedication of your follow through."

Soon after, Epstein inquired: "Can Theresa May remain in power". Bannon replied: "I don't see how however the people here have little courage" and added "Boris ; Michael Gove; Rees Mogg; David Davis - somebody has to step up".

Theresa May was finally removed in 2019 after surviving multiple attempts of lack of support in December 2018.

A representative for Reform UK told media: "Nigel Farage has never been in a gathering with Bannon, Rees-Mogg and Johnson." And there is nothing to suggest such a meeting occurred.

The Congress will vote next week on whether the justice department should release all its files concerning its probe into Epstein, who passed away in jail in 2019.

Attention in Epstein's relationships with powerful figures was reignited recently after the publication of more than 20,000 pages from his archives.

Some of those referenced Trump, who has repeatedly rejected any impropriety. The leader was a friend of Epstein's for years, but claims they parted ways in the early 2000s, two years prior to Epstein was initially charged.
